The salvation that my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has

Thankful Thursday

There is so much to be thankful for. All of the time. Always. Somehow we get so caught up in our own lives that we forget of all the blessings that we have and we start to stress out thinking that we don't have enough or we that we need more things. Here's a little poem I wrote based on that.



I sit here on my bed
Thinking with a hurting head
Jewelry on my desk
Shoes looking their best
Clothes picked up off the floor
and yet I want more

All of this stuff
it just doesn't seem to be enough.
I'm not truly satisfied
I have a hole deep inside.
So I got out and shop
and then the little feeling stops.
But it's only temporary
and I feel at a loss.

I finally realized that there's more to life.
There are so many people with hurt
no food, no money, and lots of strife.
I realized that they need to see Jesus in me.
Because I haven't been acting like Him lately.

There's a song to be sung
and a tune to be hummed.

I get so caught up in my own world
that I spin and I twirl until I feel like I am going to hurl.
But I realized that there's more to life than just things.
There's a entire world out there waiting to be set free.
So once I'm whole again than I'll go out and make sure
that everyone sees the love in me.

Blonde...Red Head...Brunette?

Or Blackette? Is that even a word? If not, it should be. right? I mean, what else do you call a person with black hair? It shouldn't be brunette. And what happens if you are dark brown? Are you Dark Brunette? Or Light Blackette?















Oh this is soooo confusing!  On the bright side ( or actually dark side ) did you notice I dyed my hair??

That's right I got a new look!!!

Gosh. It's rude to leave your mouth open like that you know!

This week over at Aunie Sauce it's Compassion Week!!! Today's Thursday 13 is "13 things that I love that people do". So in a way this is a thankful post. Just differently:)

I love it when...

1. someone genuinely asks if you are OK.2. older couples still help each other out of the car.

3. children do what they are told!! haha

4. neighbors come over and ask for eggs, sugar, or a ride

5. someone retweets me:D

6. someone writes me a letter

7. someone just gives random gifts or letters just for fun. I love seeing those pop up.

8. people give compliments. It's like they know you are having a bad day!

9. comment<3 

10. a friend offers a service....like doing my hair:D

11. people buy the groceries for someone behind/in front of them.

12. when someone makes breakfast/lunch for someone else

13. when people say I Love You. and mean it. 

Learning to be thankful.

I don't understand people. On Monday they wake up already hating the day. On Tuesday they are recovering from "that horrible day" - Monday. On Wednesday everyone seems either to start getting into their groove. That is until Thursday. You see Thursday is right before Friday. Everyone wants Friday to hurry up and come because that means the weekend will be here right after school/work/etc. You chill/play/hang on Saturday. Sunday rolls around and you enjoy it....Sunday night you set your alarm clock and do it all over. again.


I am so thankful for my life. I try to treasure my moments. You only get one life to live on this earth. We were made to enjoy. I'm learning how to be thankful during those tough moments and I try to get the best out of each day. Does that mean I won't have a bad day? NO! But I get to choose how I live each moment. And so do you.

With every breath

I'm so thankful for every breath of life. 

With every new breath and old passes.

I love holding your little hand and holding you close.

You make me appreciate every little moment with you.

I love your tiny little kisses on my face and your tiny little feet kicking around.

I don't want you to grow up, but with every breath you take I know you'll become 

amazingly talented and beautiful. 

I love you!

Thankful Thursday

Well on Tuesday I let you all know that I have some new series starting and I am really excited. I already have two buttons up on my left sidebar for Tuesday's Tips and What I wore Wednesdays and now I'll be putting up Thankful Thursdays.

Tuesday's Tips/Tutorials will focus on Beauty tips, everyday life tips, or just some cool tutorials.
What I wore Wednesdays will focus on Fashion.

Thankful Thursday will focus on what I'm thankful for. It's really a great thing:)

OH I forgot to mention....I have a surprise one-a-month-series that I'm getting ready for you guys.

I'm excited for 2012 and bringing this blog to a whole new level:)

Today I am really thankful for my house. I was at the library

and I saw a homeless guy. Well I've actually seen him there

more than once since the summer. It's really sad. And today when I went

I just realized how blessed I am to have a roof over my head. And that's why I am really thankful

on this beautiful and wonderful Thursday:)
