They say that within your innermost being, the deepest darkest depths, within the loneliness and fear, that is where you truly find yourself.
Does anyone else know who "they" is? Like seriously. Who said that? I mean yes, it's true that when you're forced to look at the nasty parts that you don't want to touch you can come out a new person. But what if you don't have to do that? Or if you've already done that but you still aren't the person you want to be?
What if the answer is right there? Smack dab in the middle of your forehead for lack of a better example. What if the answer to who you are lays in the 17 muscles it takes to form your mouth into a smile?
