Everyone comes from somewhere.... Everyone has a story. You might think your story is boring. You might think it's exciting. I find mine incredible. One day I am going to share my entire entire story with the whole wide world. Maybe I will even get a book published. Maybe it'll change a life.
Life is like a human body. Each time I make a mistake, fail, do something great, make someone happy, win someone to Christ, or do something exciting, it's like a scar or mark that gets on that body.
I want to share something super personal with whoever reads this blog now or in the future. I hope that it inspires someone to do the same:)
A lot of kids go through something they now call: "childhood obesity" thing
fortunately I have never gone through obesity but I have always been like a little overweight and stuff.
I've read a lot of stories where people decide that they are finally going to lose weight, but for me it just never really happened even though I wanted to.
This summer I decided that I was going to change my life and start becoming better at everything that I do.
That included losing weight.
It's been a little hard and it's taken a little long. (since July 2011)
No this isn't an advertising. This isn't fake. This is real life.
how did I do it?
I started eating better, eating less ( I used to have like big portions of everything), eating at different times,
and excersizing.
You might be like, "Lily I hate excersizing."
Me too...don't like it. don't think I ever will. SOOO HOW?!?!
Well there is a park close to my house and I walk there almost every single day and I just play and have fun!
Your next question, "Lily I don't have a park close to my house....now what do I do?"
Well I also walk my dog in the mornings (not so much anymore since I discovered the whole park thing)
or afternoons. and even though I walk him like up and down the street maybe twice... a little is better than nothing.
So now you are probably all like...why are you telling us this?
I am not telling you to get good responses, a congratulations, or show off.
I am telling you so that you will be inspired. maybe it's not losing weight. maybe it's something else you are a little hesitant to start or do. Don't be afraid. If you need someone to talk to you can email me: lilygracemuzik@gmail.com
Here's the next thing I want to tell you:
Losing weight has changed me. Even though I still have a long way to go, I feel more confident in myself and my abilities. I feel proud to be Lily Garay:)
I want you to feel proud of who you are. not prideful. Proud. Proud in a good way. Not snooty.
Change is a good thing. Hey, Change is a God thing:)

Of course I still have more to go, but it's all a process and the end product will be great:) I just know it
